Me And Life Coaching. Hello again!

I’m so excited to write this post! Here is a picture of me with no filter, no makeup, no hair do, just the real me with a big smile on my face that being a mum is giving me every single day!

Its Monday 11th of December 2023, my daughter is at kindergarten, husband at work and I have a little bit of time to myself, yay!

It might have been more professional to post a better more polished version of myself but I just thought let’s be real, here I am, 41 years young and I must say pretty happy with how I’m ageing. Never had any botox or any beauty injections, just a bit of self care and some good beauty products, and, of course a little inner shine :).

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking as to how to get back to coaching after a long break, a few times postponed writing this as it can be a little scary to start again. You kind of have lost a momentum when things were on the up with clients and getting some exposure. I’ve been contacted by a few magazines and book publishers during my pregnancy to help them out with articles on mental health and other topics I have touched in my articles, however I have had other priorities at the time and couldn’t commit to it.

If you have been following some of my work I have previously specialised and focused on relationships more which is still, of course, a passion of mine and an area I will be working with clients with, I will also be doing more life coaching in general by looking at all areas/aspects of your life. We often think its, for example, a career we need to work on but it ends up being something totally different that needs to be addressed first.

I will link my article at the end of this post I have previously written about what life coaching is and how I see things shifting in life coaching industry.

Keeping it short and sweet I’m wishing everyone a happy Christmas shopping and a very happy festive season this December!

Why Feeling Negative Emotions Can Be a Solution To Some Of Your Dilemmas

Happy New Year! I hope you are all well, feeling good and looking forward to 2024.

I recently read an interesting article in astrology (another interest of mine) and to cut a long story short, planet Pluto moves once every 20 years and it is moving this year, this means 2024 is a transformation year for all of us. Thinking about transformations today I would like to talk about our feelings and emotions, what our bodies are telling us when we feel emotions, be it positive or negative.

First of all, how are you feeling today? What thoughts are running through your head? What emotions are you experiencing?

Recognising and admitting to how you feel is powerful, particularly if you know how to turn them to your advantage and help through challenging times.

If you are in tune with yourself, more often than not our bodies can tell us what is right or wrong for us. Do you feel resistance when it comes to certain situations? Is something or someone making you feel uncomfortable? Or could it be something as simple as walking into a shop and you instantly can feel at ease or not, or wether you want to buy there or not. Is it the atmosphere in the shop that makes you feel good or bad? Is it maybe your finance and you are not sure you can afford, say clothes, in that shop or can it just be a bad day at the office or getting up on a wrong side of the bed?

Well, the negative, uneasy feelings are probably nothing to do with the wrong side of the bed, let’s be honest. Now every time you feel uneasy, I would like you to listen to your body and ask yourself a question. Why am I feeling this way? See what answers might come up. Our bodies are very clever at knowing what’s good for us. The good old saying about a gut feeling is true, I would say 90% of the time. If someone makes you feel uncomfortable and uneasy they might not be the right person for you to hang out with, be with or have in your life (not to be confused with someone who might challenge you which is exactly what you might need/want).

If it is financial and you really want to get something but feeling uneasy and resistant, it might be that you’re not where you want to be financially. Instead of feeling bad, guilty or sorry for yourself ask yourself what can I do, how can I earn more, do more, give more? Try to switch that mindset from feeling bad to feeling inspired. Give yourself a chance to see outside of the box. I know it can be challenging for a lot of people as we are so inside of our box and can struggle to see outside of it.

Quite often we feel tension in our bodies (it might be in the neck, shoulders, or you feel like you can’t get the words out, or butterflies in your stomach, or a frog in our throat). This could be a clue our body is sending us to help understand our emotions and feelings.

We live in the world of social media where we can see and share as much of our lives as we want and I personally don’t mind it at all because I see it as a way of communicating with others and it visually appeals to me. However, there are people to whom social media platforms are not serving well. They see how others “look perfect” and have “perfect lives” and that makes them feel bad about themselves and lowers their self esteem. It can take some work to change that mindset although please don’t be ashamed if that’s how you feel. Learn from it, flick that switch, and get inspired instead.

To the transformational and inspirational 2024!
